Coating Backing Roll Cleaner 

The Coating Backing Roll Cleaner is designed to automatically wipe your roll while your machine is in production, keeping dust and dried solution from collecting on its surface.  Our patented cleaning head design moves precisely across the surface of the roll using a soft, clean spool of cloth to wipe and remove dust and residue that has accumulated on the roll surface.  The fabric holds the particles firmly as it moves across the roll face. When the cleaner has moved off the critical portion of the roll the pad retracts and the cloth automatically advances, moving the collected particles away from the roll and preparing a fresh area of cloth for the next wiping cycle. The control design has a number of features that allow the operator to select the best setting to keep your line running. Control features include, full roll wiping, spot location and edge clean functions that allow optimization for the specific cleaning requirement of your machine. Systems are available with servo and stepper motor controls and designs for solvent atmosphere’s requiring intrinsic safe and pneumatic operation.
