Our Automatic Blanket Cleaner is designed for solvent or water based ink environments, utilizing intrinsic safe barriers for field sensors and pneumatic rodless cylinders that move the cleaning head smoothly over the face of the blanket.
Auto cloth advance allows the system to periodically stop, advance the cloth to a fresh area and continue wiping to remove ink build-up quicker and safer than operators are able to wipe manually. One clear advantage is precise fluid injection by the PLC control into the pressure pad minimizes solvent release into the area, providing a safer and more friendly work environment while providing constant pressure and traversing speed.
The system design allows up to 30’ of fabric per spool allowing hours of wiping before a fresh roll of material needs to be installed. The pad pressure control allows steady contact with a soft backing material that never damages the blanket surface.
